Must be a self rating of 4*. I've never been to a more unorganized patched together hotel. The pool was "out for cleaning" just a bunch of cleaning supplies by a very dry pool, which looks like it's been sat for more than a week. When we booked, it said book a private spa and pool? Ok, it's closed. It's the only reason we came and were not notified. The reception was less than helpful trying to charge over €350 a night when we called it was €260 and when we told them it was now €239??? Ok. Also, for a 4* hotel, we could barely check in for 4pm because the rooms were not clean, the hallways were packed full of laundry and very unprofessional. I've never been to a 4* hotel that is essentially understaffed. The only good thing was the bartender. He was very nice.

One of the worst experiences we have ever had in a hotel. My partner, 7 months pregnant, and I were stuck in the hotel elevator for more than 40 minutes in the middle of the morning. After numerous attempts to contact someone by pressing the elevator alarm signal, we finally managed to reach an operator. We tried to explain the situation, in English, but she kept speaking French and hanged up on us. There was no telephone signal in the elevator. We still managed to contact the reception after several attempts (we had been stuck there for about 15 minutes already), pointing out that a pregnant woman was stuck in the elevator. We understand perfectly well that an elevator can get stuck anywhere, but in a 4-star hotel we expect different times and - above all - different methods of reaction. When we were "freed", there was no one to comfort us or to help us carry down our luggage to the ground floor. We were not offered an apology, nor even a glass of water. At the reception they acted as if it was normal. We would have expected a more professional reaction by the staff and at least an apology.

The location is not pleasant because it is in an industrial area but practical. The service at the hotel reception was OK. The rooms were perfect and very clean. It was very nice to have the toilet separate from the bathroom. The wellness area is accessible for 1 hour (slot to be reserved). It's small but that's still a plus. Breakfast is worth the detour with savory, sweet, hot dishes and fresh bread. There is really a lot of choice as well as rarer products that we particularly appreciated such as smoked cod. This is what we liked best about the stay!
